Why APPI:  As indoor practice facilities continue to grow in popularity, the need for netting to keep balls (and pucks) from damaging the interior of their host buildings has become more and more important.  Netex has been in this market since 1977 and continually refines their ability to build and install the most advanced sports netting systems available.

For one of their large and complex containment projects, Netex required electric net hoists that were compact, reliable and equipped with automatic brakes suitable for outdoor use.  Their use of a unique bridle system that uses one hoist to pull on multiple lines rigged to a large number of net sections made our Columbia HD2000 AC electric hoists the right choice for this job.  Operating the net system in this facility required three of these hoists.

Mark Wilson, President of Netex Netting, indicated the hoist installation at the Five Tool Baseball Training Facility in Edmonton, AB was the smoothest they had ever done.  He also said additional installations are being planned.
