Columbia Pellet Machine Hoist Simplifies Die Replacement

Line Pull: 2,000 pounds on the first layer
Line Speed: 11.8 feet per minute on the first layer

Columbia Quick Die Change System

Why APPI:  Large pellet mills and hammermills have large dies that can present large problems when it’s time to replace them.

Bliss simplified this process by installing one of our Columbia HD2000 AC hoists on a sliding frame built in to the structure of the mill that is perfectly positioned to make the quick die change system as efficient as possible.

Power for the hoist is tied to the mill and a NEMA 12 rated, push-button equipped hand-held pendant provides the operator with control of the hoist.

As the hoist assembly is integrated into the machine, it cuts the time required for the task while reducing the amount of labor and risk required to trade out dies.

    We have 2 Lameccanica pellet mills Model # CLM935.M.LG and we are in need of new hoists for the machines
    these mills are about 8 years old and the hoist are shot can you give me a quote for the ones ( the dies are about 1100 lbs )
