Why APPI: Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!! When nature doesn’t cooperate by providing natural snow, snow makers take over. Given water, electric energy and temperatures below 32 degrees, snow makers can provide snow. These snow making machines make snow by breaking water into small particles, cooling the water by causing them to move through cold air, nucleating the water particles and distributing the resulting snow on a surface. These efficiently designed snow making machines are adjusted for snow distribution height and distance using Columbia HF3500-2A17-L-02 AC electric hoisting equipment. Environmental conditions including freezing temperatures and high winds can result in some extreme conditions – and the Columbia hoist handles these winter conditions like a bundled up snow bunny.
